Hello, My name is Heather Riedel!

I specialize in Dog Photography because, well, I’m obsessed with them.

I grew up in Olympia, WA and moved to Issaquah to work in marketing and sales — I have LOVED working with people, learning about their needs and being of service. A year after having my son in 2014 I picked up my first digital camera. I quickly fell in love with storytelling and preserving those fleeting moments. Riedel Photography LLC was born in 2021 when I turned my creative hobby into a business. I wanted to have a flexible schedule to raise my son and do work that felt purposeful.

Why Dogs?

Dogs have been my lifeline, countless times. They are the most precious, loyal and quirky friends. Their eyes say it all. Instead of expectations and responsibility, a dog’s eyes are pure in both their intention and their love. And that’s something quite special.
